Episode 139: Cecilia Auth | Pediatric Registered Nurse, Founder & CEO of Tubesies

Jan 31, 2022

As nurses, we want to help the family, not just the patient. It's wholistic care.” - Cecilia Auth

Cecilia Auth has been a pediatric nurse for 20 years. Her passion to help children heal, grow and learn, led to a novel idea, a tube feeding friendly bodysuit that would not only help the parent access the port more easily but one that encourages the child, with fun vinyl prints over the access window.

In 2016 Tubesies’ first prototype was born out of a pediatric feeding therapy program where Cecilia found a need for more adaptive apparel. After a mom with a G-tube baby reached out during the development stages of Tubesies, Cecilia received incredible feedback, confirming how much a product like Tubesies made a huge difference in their day-to-day lives.

Now, with Tubesies adopted by parents and medical professionals alike, she is proud to offer the Tubesies bodysuit online and at retailers like Zappos Adaptive and Patti + Ricky. She hopes that Tubesies allows parents and caregivers more quality time with their children. When children are comfortable and happy they have more of an opportunity to thrive!

You’re not here by accident.

You’re here because something inside you knows there’s more, more joy, more clarity, more YOU.

My mission is to help you stay curious, navigate the chaos, and rewrite the stories that have tried to hold you back. You don’t need to start over or have it all figured out. You just need the courage to take the next step toward a life that feels like your own.

One question, one story, one moment of courage can change everything.

And you’re already on your way.

How can I help?
